Handmade Plain Raw Chocolate

The Plain bar is a rich, creamy, luxurious tasting dark chocolate made from the purest ingredients to give you a bar you will love to eat every day. This bar is so good that Concious used it as the base for the rest of their range as the depth of flavours is so satisfying.

As with all the Conscious Chocolate range, this is a raw, handmade and hand wrapped chocolate bar that is free from pesticides, dairy, soya and gluten. It has a low GI and GL making it suitable for diabetics as it is naturally sweetened with agave nectar.

Inherent in the Conscious ethos is the maximisation of human input to ensure the highest possible quality. Each bar is unique. Conscious Chocolate's raw ingredients are all sourced as unheated or sun-dried, retaining all the beneficial properties of the cacao bean. The ingredients are always prepared and blended entirely by hand at low temperatures (below 42˚C). Conscious always aim for high ethical awareness and as low an impact as possible on the environment. The packaging is all entirely biodegradable and compostable.

It is an imperative part of their policy for them to know the country of origin of each ingredient to make sure it is fairly traded, transported and ethically sourced. They ensure the ingredients are organically certified and that pesticides and spays are never used.
