Alfalfa was one of the first cultivated crops, also known as lucerne or buffalo herb. Sprouting makes available amino acids, in the form of super-fresh organic salad or sandwich filling. To sprout, soak for 4 to 6 hours and rinse twice daily. Be frugal! In 6 days a little seed grows a lot of salad!
