Originating in the East, Barley Grain was the most important bread-grain, now used mainly for making beer! use in soups or stwes, or cook in the place of rice. Cook for 30-45 minutes using 1 cup of Barley to 3 cups of water. Due to changes in supply, this is either "pearl" or "pot" barley and thus cannot guarantee sprouting.
