Also known as Red Churl, these beans originate in China. The characteristic sweet and nutty flavour is much favoured in Japan. Soak for 3-5 hours, then cook for 1 hour or pressure cook for 15 minutes. Simmer until soft for delicious soups, pates etc. These beans will sprout into a tasty beansprout salad (grows best in combination).
