From the "Laird" variety, these large lentils are usually grown in North America. For sprouting, soa for 6 hours, rinse daily for 3 days and enjoy! To cook, there is no need to soak, simply cook for 20 minute4s to pressure cook for 8 minutes. To make a warming dahl, cook the lentils with a cinnamon stick, bay leaf, garlic, ginger and turmeric for 40 minutes. Add lemon and seasoning to taste.
