Chickpeas, also known as Garbanzos/Gram, are much used in Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. To cook, soak for 8-12 hours and cook for 2-3 hours or pressure cook for 40 minutes. When sprouting, soak for 6 hours, rinse daily and eat after 2 days.
Combine cooked chickpeas with finely chopped garlic, tahini and lemon juice and blend until creamy to make a delicious Hummus.
